SOUTH Yorkshire Integrated Transport Authority is on the lookout for members of the public to serve on its Standards Committee.

The role of the committee is to promote and maintain high standards of conduct amongst authority members and ensure compliance with the Code of Conduct. 

 

It is also responsible for considering complaints that a member has breached the code.

The Standards Committee is made up of three independent members and three authority members.

Independent members are paid an annual allowance of £450, plus expenses, for attending meetings with the committee getting together approximately four times a year.

Completed application forms need to be returned by January 29.
