Boy and three adults arrested in nuisance biker investigation

FOUR people, including a 14 year-old boy, have been arrested as part of police investigations to locate nuisance bikers.

A spokeswoman for South Yorkshire Police said the force received multiple reports of teenage boys riding off-road motorcycles in Thorpe Hesley, Kimberworth and Chapeltown in a dangerous manner on July 3.

Today (Wednesday) police arrested an 18-year-old man and a 14-year-old boy on suspicion of dangerous driving, public nuisance offences and driving offences.

Further enquiries resulted in the arrest of a 38-year-old man and a 37-year-old woman on suspicion of burglary and theft offences.
