Body found after fire at Rotherham house
THE body of an elderly man was found at a house after police officers and firefighters were called there on Saturday night.
Both services were called to a semi-detached property at The Bridleway, Rawmarsh, where the 72-year-old was discovered.
A spokeswoman for South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue confirmed there had been a fire at the property.
A South Yorkshire Police spokesman said: “We are not treating this death as suspicious or seeking anyone else in connection.”
