Bluebell Wood benefits from legal eagles’ ‘Make A Will’ campaign

SOLICITORS have teamed up with Bluebell Wood to raise cash for the children’s hospice during Make A Will Month.

Eleven firms across the region, including Buchanan & Co at Kiveton Park and Rotherham’s Malcolm C Foy & Co have signed up.

They will charge £95 for a will — £150 for a mirror will — during May with the fees going to the North Anston children’s hospice.

Bluebell Wood trust and legacy fundraiser Julie Booth said: “We all know that making a will is important, yet over half the population doesn’t have any kind of will in place.

“Even if you already have one, it's recommended you update it every five years. Not many people realise that getting married automatically invalidates your will.

“Now is the time to bite the bullet and get your affairs in order. By choosing to make your will during Make a Will Month, you’ll be protecting your own family’s future, and helping the families supported by Bluebell Wood every day.”
