Bid to help jobless start businesses

AN EVENT aimed at unemployed people has been set up to assist them to start up their own businesses.

The session, to be held in room two of the Central Library in Rotherham at 10am on Thursday, is one of a series of events organised by Rotherham Enterprise.

The project has been set up to help people to look for business opportunities, grow in confidence and develop the necessary business skills needed to start and run a business.

Help is also available through Rotherham Enterprise for existing businesses who may be experiencing difficulties in a variety of areas including financial, legislation and marketing.

Rotherham Enterprise is funded through the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and managed by Yorkshire Forward, the regional development agency.
