Barnies Rubble hosts Hog roast for Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice

A HOG roast, mulled wine and raffle are among the attractions at a DIY shop’s Christmas fair.

Barnies Rubble store on Angel Street in Bolton-on-Dearne will raise funds for Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice at the event from 2pm on December 8.

Santa will make an appearance and visitors will have the chance to enter a raffle to win one of three Raleigh children’s bikes, donated by the store, as well as other prizes from local businesses.

Raffle tickets are already available at Barnies in Bolton as well as the store on Station Road in Thurnscoe and the hospice shop in Wombwell.

The raffle will be drawn at the Christmas fair which will also have real trees and decorations on sale.

A spokesman for the event said: “Come along and see Santa and support Bluebell Wood, with all proceeds going to the hospice.

“Barnies is proud to be supporting such a deserving cause.”
