Appeal after “dog attack”
POLICE want to trace the owner of a bull terrier which allegedly bit a woman and attacked her dog.
The woman suffered a fracture to her hand after the incident on grassland between Jenkin Road and Newman Road, Wincobank.
A black Staffordshire bull terrier cross breed wearing a think leather harness was reported to have attacked her and her pet at about 9.10am on May 15.
Anyone with information or who could help trace the dog owner is asked to contact 101 quoting incident 177 of that date.
