AESSEAL up for clutch of prestige awards

MULTI-award winning seal maker AESSEAL is out to add to its bulging trophy cabinet after being nominated for seven prizes at an glittering ceremony this week.

The Parkgate-based mechanical seals manufacturer AESSEAL has been shortlisted for in seven categories in the Institution of Mechanical Engineers’ Manufacturing Excellence Awards.

Colin Brown, the Institution’s director of engineering said: “AESSEAL is a fantastic business that is helping to ensure manufacturing remains at the heart of Rotherham’s economy.

Assessors visited the AESSEAL plant in Rotherham last month and they will find out if they have been successful at the Dorchester Hotel in London on November 23.

The company has been shortlisted for awards in Customer Focus, Logistics & Operational Efficiency; People Effectiveness; Business Development & Change Management; Financial Management; Sustainable Manufacturing; and Partnership with Education.
