Young drivers get chance behind the wheel

A DRIVING education scheme aimed at youngsters in their mid-teens is paying a visit to Meadowhall this weekend.

The SEAT Young Driver Programme, a partnership between the Spanish car manufacturer, Admiral Insurance and Pirelli Tyres, offers youngsters aged between 11 and 17 the chance to get behind the wheel long before they can legally take to the open road.

On Saturday the scheme will offer the opportunity to aspiring motorists from Rotherham and Sheffield.
