Piano star appears in Dinnington

KEYBOARD supremo Tony Stace will be hoping to wow a Rotherham audience with his “great skill and keen sense of humour”, according to his hosts.

South Yorkshire Keyboard and Organ Club (SYKOC) will welcome the feted piano player — twice been voted keyboard player/organist of the year — to Dinnington Resource Centre from 7.30pm next Tuesday (21).

Club President Jon Smith says that the club was lucky to have booked such a star performer.  

“Tony is really busy and it is hard to get him,” he said.

“He was so good when he last came that hereceived a spontaneous standing ovation.  

“There is no doubt that he will wow theaudience with his great skill and keen sense of humour.”

SYKOC has beenarranging concerts every other Tuesday evening in Dinnington for over 25 years.

Genres of music covered range pop to classical, songs from stage shows and films to jazz.

There is a licensed bar and tea, coffee and biscuits will be available during the interval.
