Rehearsals are now in full swing for the musical, which was written by Tim Firth and Gary Barlow.

Rachel added: “It’s a lovely play set in a Yorkshire with lots of highs and lows, very relatable for lots of people.

“Gary Barlow’s music brings the well-known story to life with plenty of rousing chorus numbers and emotive solo numbers.”

Tickets are available to buy from the Rotherham Civic website at www.rotherhamtheatres.co.uk or on 01709 823621.
