We deserved more, says Raynor

ASSISTANT boss Paul Raynor insists Rotherham United did enough to come home with all three points from Barnet on Saturday.

The Millers are still looking for their first away win after the 0-0 draw at Underhill against  League Two's bottom side. They put a poor first-half performance behind them to threaten a win but ended the match with ten men after Alex Revell's sending-off for a foul on defender David Stephens.

Raynor had gripes with that, saying the club may appeal after viewing the DVD, and with an early order from the fourth official not to communicate with banned manager Steve Evans from the dugout. It was subsequently withdrawn after consultations with the referee at half time.

On the match, he said: "We changed it around a little bit tactically and got into the game more.

"We talk about it being a game of two halves, but we dominated the second half, had some chances and should have won but we’ve come away and got a draw."

The Millers, 12th in the table, host Oxford United on Saturday.
