Taxis and guide dogs
MAY I bring to the attention of taxi drivers of this town the code of practice to the transportation of guide dogs.
I was out with my friend who is blind and needed to phone a taxi to take us home, but when the driver arrived he refused to take the dog.
He then jumped back in the taxi and drove off leaving me, my friend and the dog in the pouring rain.
As I understand it, the law is that guide dogs cannot be refused.
