I’ve met my idols

MY MAIN passion is music. I thoroughly enjoy discovering new artistes and bands, and listening to a wide range of genres.

I spend most of my pocket money on concerts, saving up every pound so I can go to as many as possible.

You could call me incredibly dedicated as some times I even queue for five to eight hours just so I can get to the front.

It does come with privileges though as I have often met the bands/artistes while queuing — from the pop/rock band Lawson to top producer and singer Labrinth.

The single best part about having these opportunities is the people you meet along with them.

I’ve met my best friend through going to concerts. We immediately had the same thing in common and got along instantly.

People aren’t lying when they say music brings people together. It gives you a sense of belonging that you wouldn’t really expect.

I believe that every person should at least once experience a concert to get the chance to sing along with the rest of the crowd and experience the unforgettable atmosphere. And most of all, see your idols perform amazingly through the night.
