New name, same job for Age Concern Rotherham

AGE Concern Rotherham has a new name and logo from today, but its boss has promised it continue to focus on the needs of the town's elderly.

The charity, based in St Ann's Road, will now be known as Age UK Rotherham.

Chief executive Lesley Dabell said: We want to reassure people that we are remaining as an independent local charity.

“Our board decided that working in partnership with Age UK nationally was the best way to ensure that we continued to provide excellent services and support to Rotherham’s older people."
