Tennis racket signed by Andy Murray stolen in burglary

A TENNIS racket signed by Andy Murray has been stolen in a burglary along with other items.

The break-in occured at Northern Steel Decking in Manor Road, Dinnington, on Monday.

A South Yorkshire Police spokeswoman said: “At about 1.25am, two unknown offenders broke into Northern Steel Decking in Manor Road and stole a small quantity of cash from the building.

“They are also said to have stolen a tennis racket which was signed by Andy Murray.” 

One of the offenders is described as wearing a purple jacket, purple gloves and a hat. Both had their faces covered.
