Appeal after Denaby killer dog attack

A DOG died and its owner was left injured after they were attacked by two rampaging dogs in Denaby.

A 57-year-old man suffered injuries in the attack in Stoncliffe Walk, Denaby Main on March 26 in which his 16-year-old pet Lhasa Apso died.

Police believe that two unknown dogs, believed to be a bulldog/greyhound cross breed, ran towards them and attacked the man and his dog.

The unknown dogs were not accompanied by an owner and are believed to have ran off in the direction of a nearby restaurant.

Police are appealing for anyone with information to call 101 quoting incident number 117 of March 26.
